Veterans Day is one of McAdams Plumbing’s favorite holidays because it gives us an opportunity to thank all of those military personnel for the hard work and sacrifice they made to protect out freedoms.

The folks here at McAdams Plumbing are no stranger to service either. Our Master plumber Rick served in the Army Rangers, and Chris M served with the U.S.A.F. We understand what it means to sacrifice, but we also understand there are those who sacrificed so much more then we could ever imagine.

I ask everyone who reads this to not just say “thank you” to a veteran for their service, but to take some time to personally connect with a veteran you know and learn from their experiences. Military service offers a vantage point to life, government, and sacrifice that few people ever see.

Only about 6% of the US population have served in the military, and less than 1% are currently active. That helps put perspective around how special it is to serve. Veteran’s are part of an extremely small fraternity and we must remember that this fraternity consists of mostly volunteers, so these folks deserve our respect.

So on behalf of McAdams Plumbing, I would like to thank every veteran who has ever served our country in any capacity. Your sacrifices will not go unnoticed and you are appreciated more than you can imagine. Hold your heads high soldiers, today we celebrate you, and you deserve it.

Happy Memorial Day from McAdams Plumbing

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

As a veteran owned and operated company, McAdams Plumbing would like to sincerely thank all the veteran’s worldwide for their past, present, and future service.

A special thank you goes out to all those who ultimately sacrificed their lives so that we may continue our way of life and enjoy our freedoms. We can never forget these Americans.

Additionally, we thank the families of the military personnel who must also sacrifice so much to support their Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen. Your efforts are invaluable.

This day reminds us of how costly our freedom is. Countless citizens have died to protect our way of life and we are all forever in their debt.

None of us would be where we are, able to enjoy our lives and the opportunities presented to us if it wasn’t for these brave women and men who put everything they have on the line everyday.

You are true heroes.

And we are truly grateful.

Memorial Day Veterans Celebration – Broomfield

Summer has finally broken through the winter veil, so that means Memorial Day is right around the corner.

If you’re a Broomfield resident, why not spend part of your day reflecting on the sacrifices our country’s great veterans have made?

On Monday, May 26, from 11:00am – 1:00pm the Broomfield Veterans Museum will be hosting their annual community Memorial Day event at the Broomfield County Commons Park.

The event will begin with an Honor Guard presentation of the colors by the Broomfield Police and Firefighters.

There will also be a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, a bugler playing Taps, and a local Broomfield student will sing the National Anthem.

The Broomfield Mayor, Randy Ahrens, will be on hand to speak followed by food provided by the Broomfield Lion’s Club and music provided by the 101st Air National Guard Jazz Band and the Broomfield Civic Chorus.

A variety of military exhibits will on display in the grassy areas of the park for everyone to enjoy.

Finally you can expect to see a performance by uniformed World War II reenactors.

Whew! That’s quite a lot to happen in a short amount of time. Certainly sounds like an All-American good time though!

You can certainly expect to spot some of the veterans from McAdams Plumbing out showing our support. If you recognize us, please come up and introduce yourself. We love to meet our neighbors in the community.
