Why McAdams, and Why WaterCop?

McAdams Plumbing, Inc. is an authorized installer of the patented WaterCop system which greatly reduces the chances of catastrophic water damage at a fraction of the cost of most insurance deductibles, and may even qualify you for an insurance discount of 5-7%.

The WaterCop system includes an automatic valve and multiple flood and temperature sensors, and the Pro Series includes a control panel.

Flood sensors actively monitor specific leak-prone areas within your home and notify the WaterCop automatic shut off valve when pooling water is detected.

The device installs on your main water supply line where it enters the home and will automatically turn off the water when when the sensors contact water.

The WaterCop also can be operated by using the open/close buttons on the front of the actuator, or remotely with many home security systems. The ProSeries allows you to open and close the valve from the Pro Panel.

WaterCop Pro Series

In cases of frozen pipes, WaterCop uses sensors to monitor the temperature of a single pipe. When the temperature drops to a near-freezing point, the sensor will alert the WaterCop to shut off the water supply, preventing the possibility of flooding from a burst pipe.

DynaQuip Controls, the WaterCop manufacturer, recommends that the device be installed by a certified, licensed plumber, such as McAdams Plumbing, Inc.
